To introduce the student to the basic concepts of abstract and linear algebra
Treści kształcenia:
Complex numbers. Algebraic systems. Groups, fields. Vector spaces. Matrices and determinants. Systems of linear equations. Linear mappins. Eigenvalues and eigenvectors of a linear operator. Jordan block matrices.
Metody oceny:
Students are required to sit two midterm tests with maximum score of 20 points each, and a final exam of 50 points. One can get up to 10 points for classroom activity. A student must collect 51 points to get C, 61 points to get C+ and so on
